We work for it. We should keep more of it.
We earn the money, but the system takes a cut at every turn. We are taxed on everything: our paychecks, our homes, and the daily things we buy. The bill is high, so the benefit to us should be obvious. Instead, it is frustrating to pay so much while seeing so little return in our daily lives.
We want a tax system that is lean, fair, and respects our labor. We need to know exactly where the money goes. If the money doesn’t come back to benefit our families and our communities, it shouldn’t be taken in thefirst place. These aren’t abstract debates—they are conversations about our wallets and our lives.
